THREE TECHNOLOGY PARK MALAYSIA INCUBATEES EYE COVETED MCY 2017 AWARDS

KUALA LUMPUR, DECEMBER 11 – Three incubatees of Technology Park Malaysia Corporation Sdn Bhd (TPM) are among the six finalists eyeing for the coveted the Malaysia Commercialisation Year 2017 Awards (MCY 2017) organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation.

The MCY 2017 Awards is held in conjunction with the two-day Global Entrepreneurship Community Summit 2017 (GEC 2017) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre starting tomorrow.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will be the guest-of-honour to present the prizes to the MCY 2017 Awards winners tomorrow.

For this year’s MCY presentation, TPM submitted five products and services of their incubatees for Awards competition. The three selected awards finalists are LOGIKATION, Ipinfra Networks Sdn Bhd and Therapy On Demand Sdn Bhd.

Last year, TPM was the biggest winner of MCY 2016 Awards when three out of the four finalists from TPM that competed against six other companies bagged the main titles and winning cash prizes worth RM500,000.00.

TPM President and CEO, Datuk Ir. Mohd Azman Shahidin said the three TPM incubatees selected as finalists for the MCY 2017 awards have yet again demonstrated the capability and capacity of TPM to contribute and deliver the results towards achieving the nation’s aspirations in science and innovation.

“We are certainly happy and proud of the hard efforts put in by our incubatees and staff at the TPM Innovation Incubation Centre as well as our partners of the highly structured coaching and handholding programmes in driving the success. This is a result of the concerted efforts of all stakeholders, professionalism, positive energies and yen to always achieve the desired goals in technopreneur and entrepreneurs development,” added Azman.    

LOGIKATION is an Internet of Things (IoT) company specializing in smart embedded solutions. Its Environment Monitoring System (EMS) solutions are built for homes and businesses. Marketed under the brand name “Terapi”, it is the leading online Malay certified directory that customers can gain access to IPTA/IPTS physiotherapists and Shariah compliance endorsement from related bodies.
